Nicechop Work Shop

Nicechop's bread'n'butter is computer-based design and animation for many wonderful clients. We love it, but sometimes we all need a break from staring at the "glowing rectangle."

At the end of a long day, Nicechop's owner, Ryan, charges his creative batteries by heading out to the garage to make some sawdust. Nicechop Work Shop designs and builds original handmade pieces for retail, fundraisers, and anyone else who asks nicely.

DIY: Firewood Mosquito Repellent

Nicechop offers video production, editing, and motion graphics. This quick little vignette was a fun excuse to combine our digital skill set with our analog toolbox!

Fundraiser: Upcycled bomber box

We like our outdoors at Nicechop, so when Rogue Riverkeeper approached us to donate some handmade bottle boxes to raise money in effort to keep our southern Oregon waterways healthy and accessible, we jumped at the chance! Made from the wood scraps provided by Sawyer Paddles & Oars, reclaimed inner tube from Flywheel Bicycle Solutions, and a carabiner bottle opener built into the handle for easy drinkin'!

Wooden rings

Wooden rings

It started out as a personal challenge to make a set of non-traditional wedding rings. Now, Nicechop's wooden rings are a popular item in boutique jewelry shops and online. 100% handmade from domestic and exotic wood, crushed stone, and heat-cured resin.
